Flightbookers considers that adequate travel insurance is essential. As a result we have arranged, on behalf of our clients, a competitive insurance facility through Marcus Hearn & Co Ltd, Registered Insurance Brokers, which is underwritten on behalf of a consortium of insurers by Travel and Personal Underwriters Ltd and full cover and limitations are detailed within the certificate, which alone constitutes the Contract of Insurance between you and the Travel and Personal Underwriters Ltd. Shown here are the brief details only, but a specimen certificate is available on request, which you should ensure not only meets with your approval but also with your needs and requirements.

Particular notice should be taken of the medical and cancellation sections of the policy whereby at the time of effecting the insurance:-
a) The insured person is aware of any medical condition or set of circumstances which could reasonably be expected to give rise to a claim.

b) Any person who gives rise to a claim:-
1) has during the 12 months prior to the issue of insurance suffered from any chronic and/or recurring illness of a serious nature which has necessitated consultation or treatment unless declared to and accepted by the Underwriters.
or
2) is receiving or on a waiting list for in-patient treatment in a hospital or nursing home
or
3) is expected to give birth before or within 2 months following the date of arrival home
or
4) is travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner or for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment abroad
or
5) has been given a terminal prognosis.

All material facts must be disclosed to the Underwriters. Failure to do so may affect your rights under the insurance. A material fact is one likely to influence the Underwriters in the acceptance or assessment of the insurance (for example your own state of health or that of a close relative). If you are in any doubt whether a fact is 'material', then it should be disclosed for your own protection.
